2-week Camps meet Mon-Fri 9:00-3:00

with early dropoff and after care to 5:30 available

for ages 6 through 18

Camp and Performances  are held in the Generic Theater
located in the Scope/Chrysler Hall complex in Norfolk


July 9 to 20 - performances July 21 & 22

Campers learn acting skills, singing and basic dance movement.

They play theater games, do improvisations and pantomime, and

learn stage directions, stage combat and auditioning skills.  A

full length musical will be staged with all students having

speaking parts and all parts played by students.


 July 23 to August 3 - performances August 4 & 5

Campers learn stage acting as well as how acting for the camera

differs from performing on stage.  They play theater game and

do improvisations and pantomime, and learn stage directions.

They will be videotaped during camp and learn about types of

shots, directing terminology and they make a TV commercials.

All campers will be cast in a play, which will be shot as a movie

during camp and they will receive a DVD of the movie and their

commercial.  On performance days, they will perform the same play

on stage. (note: younger students need to be able to read scripts for this camp)

  Tuition for each 2-week camp $300.  Fee includes all materials, costumes and
performance fees.  There is a $50 discount for a second sibling attending the
same camp or for one child attending a second camp.
